Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and motivate chefs and kitchen staff.
• Manage food costs, inventory, and supplier relationships.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Monitor portion control and minimize food waste.
• Coordinate with restaurant management to support business objectives.
• Schedule kitchen staff efficiently to meet operational demands.
• Resolve kitchen challenges promptly while maintaining a positive working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or Senior Sous Chef in a busy restaurant.
• Professional culinary training or a recognized culinary qualification is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and international cuisine.
• Solid understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene regulations.
• Experience with menu development, food costing, and inventory management.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
