Head Bartender

A busy bar is looking for a confident and experienced Head Bartender to lead the bar team and deliver an outstanding guest experience. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate the bar team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to the highest standards.
• Develop and update cocktail menus with creative and seasonal offerings.
• Monitor stock levels, place beverage orders, and minimise waste.
• Ensure the bar is clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout each shift.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Schedule staff shifts and supervise daily bar operations.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Monitor beverage costs and support initiatives to improve profitability.
• Work closely with management to achieve sales and service goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Head Bartender, Senior Bartender, or in a similar leadership role within a busy bar.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and beverage presentation.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
• Experience with stock control, inventory management, and ordering procedures.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling.
• Professional appearance and a customer-focused attitude.
