Head Bartender

Job Description

A vibrant and fast-paced bar is seeking an experienced Head Bartender to lead our beverage operations and create exceptional guest experiences. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, extensive beverage knowledge, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the bar and supervise bartending staff.
• Create and maintain high-quality cocktail and beverage standards.
• Train, mentor, and schedule bar team members.
• Monitor stock levels and manage inventory and supplier orders.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve service issues professionally.
• Develop seasonal drink menus and introduce innovative beverage offerings.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve profitability.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards throughout the bar.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage Management, or a related field is an advantage.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of bartending experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beverage trends.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
• Experience with inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
