A lively, detail-driven cafe is looking for a confident and experienced Head Bartender to lead our bar operations and bring creativity, consistency, and warmth to every drink served. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys mentoring a small team while still staying hands-on during busy service hours. You will be responsible for shaping the beverage experience, maintaining high standards, and ensuring customers enjoy both classic and signature cafe-style drinks in a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations and ensure smooth service during peak hours
• Create and update beverage menus, including coffee-based drinks, mocktails, and specialty beverages
• Supervise, train, and support bartending staff
• Maintain inventory levels and manage stock ordering
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with safety standards
• Monitor drink quality and presentation before service
• Engage with customers and handle special drink requests
• Work closely with cafe management to improve beverage offerings

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of coffee-based beverages, mocktails, and basic mixology
• Excellent communication and team management skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
• Good understanding of inventory control and stock management
• Creativity in developing new drink ideas and seasonal specials
• Customer-focused attitude with a friendly and professional demeanor
