Head Bartender

Job Description

We are looking for a confident and experienced Head Bartender to lead the bar team, set the tone for great service, and bring consistency, creativity, and energy to every shift. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to mix great drinks and also manage people with ease.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations and ensure smooth service flow
• Create, update, and maintain cocktail and drink menus
• Supervise, train, and support bartenders and barbacks
• Ensure proper stock control, ordering, and inventory management
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards at all times
• Handle customer interactions and resolve complaints professionally
• Monitor quality of drinks to ensure consistency and presentation standards
• Manage cash handling and daily sales reporting

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a senior bartender or head bartender
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and mixology techniques
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Good communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Basic understanding of inventory and bar costing
