Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Barista to lead our coffee shop team. As Head Barista, you will oversee daily beverage operations, maintain quality standards, and inspire the team to create memorable experiences for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate the barista team to deliver excellent service.
• Prepare high-quality coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with consistency.
• Develop and maintain beverage preparation standards.
• Train new and existing team members on coffee techniques, equipment use, and customer engagement.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment for coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies.
• Ensure espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment are cleaned, maintained, and operating efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and workplace organization.
• Handle customer feedback professionally and resolve service concerns promptly.
• Assist with scheduling, shift coordination, and daily opening and closing procedures.
• Support the introduction of seasonal beverages and menu improvements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Barista, Lead Barista, or Head Barista.
• Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, manual brewing methods, and coffee preparation techniques.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Experience managing inventory and reducing product waste.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining beverage quality.
• Familiarity with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• A genuine passion for coffee, continuous learning, and delivering an exceptional café experience.
