Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Head Barista who is passionate about crafting outstanding beverages, inspiring a team, and maintaining high standards of quality and service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others, introducing creative beverage ideas, and ensuring every customer receives a memorable coffee shop experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor the barista team to deliver consistent beverage quality.
• Prepare a wide range of coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty drinks to established standards.
• Monitor daily coffee shop operations to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
• Maintain coffee equipment and coordinate servicing when required.
• Manage inventory, stock ordering, and supplier deliveries for coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
• Create staff schedules and support efficient shift planning.
• Ensure cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards are consistently maintained.
• Develop seasonal beverage offerings and contribute fresh menu ideas.
• Handle customer feedback professionally and resolve service concerns promptly.
• Monitor sales performance and recommend ways to improve beverage quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Barista, Senior Barista, or Head Barista in a busy coffee shop.
• Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, brewing techniques, and coffee preparation methods.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience managing inventory, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
• Ability to train and develop team members to maintain consistent quality.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
