Our busy coffee shop is looking for an experienced Head Barista to lead daily beverage operations, maintain outstanding quality standards, and create memorable customer experiences. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the barista team during daily operations.
• Prepare premium coffee and espresso-based beverages to a consistently high standard.
• Train, coach, and support new and existing baristas.
• Monitor beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Manage coffee bean inventory, milk supplies, and other café essentials.
• Ensure coffee machines and equipment are cleaned, maintained, and operating efficiently.
• Develop brewing techniques and recommend seasonal beverage offerings.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and promote excellent service.
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards throughout the coffee station.
• Assist management with scheduling, stock ordering, and operational planning.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Senior Barista, Lead Barista, or Head Barista in a café or coffee shop.
• Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, manual brewing methods, and coffee bean varieties.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed during busy service periods.
• Experience with inventory control and stock management is an advantage.
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices.
