We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our hotel team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring every arrival, stay, and departure is handled with warmth, efficiency, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude during check-in and check-out.
• Handle reservations, room assignments, and booking modifications accurately.
• Respond promptly to guest enquiries, requests, and concerns, ensuring timely resolution.
• Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Process payments, maintain accurate guest records, and balance cash or card transactions.
• Answer telephone calls and direct enquiries appropriately.
• Assist with concierge-style services, including arranging transportation when required.
• Maintain the front desk area in a clean, organised, and professional manner.
• Follow hotel policies, security procedures, and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a front desk, guest services, customer service, or hotel reception role is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office applications is an advantage.
• Ability to remain calm and professional while handling multiple tasks.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
