Guest Relations Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide a positive first impression upon arrival.
• Respond promptly to guest enquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by resolving complaints efficiently and following up where necessary.
• Coordinate with front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and other departments to meet guest needs.
• Assist VIP guests and ensure special requests are handled appropriately.
• Maintain accurate records of guest feedback and service recovery actions.
• Promote hotel facilities, services, and special offers to guests.
• Monitor guest experiences and recommend improvements to enhance service quality.
• Support the front office team during busy periods when required.
• Uphold the hotel’s service standards and professional image at all times.

Qualifications

• Diploma, HND, bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Customer Service, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in guest relations, front office, customer service, or a similar hotel role is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities.
• Professional appearance and a welcoming attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
• Good organisational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems is an added advantage.
