Garde Manger

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Garde Manger to join our restaurant team. If you enjoy precision, creativity, and presenting food that looks as good as it tastes, we would love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and present cold dishes, salads, dressings, canapés, and appetisers.
• Create attractive food displays for service and special events.
• Maintain freshness, quality, and consistency in all cold kitchen items.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and storage procedures.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist with menu development and seasonal specials when required.
• Keep the cold kitchen station clean, organised, and well-stocked.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Garde Manger, Cold Kitchen Chef, or similar culinary role.
• Culinary training or a recognised food preparation qualification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of food presentation, cold food preparation, and kitchen hygiene.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Creative approach to food preparation and plating.
