Floral & Décor Attendant

Job Description

Our hotel is looking for a creative and detail-focused Floral & Décor Attendant to help keep our spaces beautifully presented and welcoming. From fresh floral arrangements to elegant event setups, you will play a hands-on role in creating attractive surroundings for guests, celebrations, and special occasions.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and maintain fresh flowers, plants, and decorative displays throughout the hotel.
• Assist with decorating guest areas, dining spaces, meeting rooms, and event venues.
• Set up and dismantle décor for weddings, conferences, celebrations, and other functions.
• Keep floral and décor materials clean, organised, and properly stored.
• Monitor the condition of flowers, plants, fabrics, ornaments, and other decorative items.
• Work with hotel teams to meet specific décor requirements for events and guest requests.
• Suggest creative ideas for improving displays and seasonal decorations.
• Follow health, safety, and hotel presentation standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in floral design, event décor, interior styling, or a related role is preferred.
• A certificate or diploma in Floristry, Interior Design, Event Management, Art & Design, or a related field is an advantage.
• Good eye for colour, proportion, arrangement, and visual presentation.
• Basic knowledge of flower care and maintenance.
• Creative, reliable, and comfortable working with your hands.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
