Floral & Decor Attendant

Job Description

Our restaurant creates memorable dining experiences through thoughtful presentation, attentive service, and an inviting atmosphere. We are looking for a Floral & Décor Attendant to help maintain the visual appeal of the restaurant by caring for floral arrangements, styling dining areas, and ensuring decorative elements remain fresh, attractive, and well presented.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and maintain fresh and artificial floral displays throughout the restaurant.
• Prepare tables, entrance areas, private dining spaces, and other sections with appropriate decorative elements.
• Inspect floral arrangements and replace wilted, damaged, or unsuitable materials promptly.
• Clean, organise, and safely store décor supplies, vases, containers, and display accessories.
• Assist with decorating the restaurant for celebrations, themed dining experiences, and special events.
• Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure décor does not interfere with service or customer movement.
• Monitor floral and décor supplies and report items that need replenishment or replacement.
• Maintain consistent presentation standards across all restaurant areas.
• Handle flowers, plants, fabrics, ornaments, and other decorative materials carefully.
• Follow workplace safety and cleanliness procedures when handling décor equipment and materials.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in floral arrangement, event décor, visual presentation, or a related role is preferred.
• Strong creative and artistic skills with an excellent eye for detail.
• Good understanding of flower care and basic floral arrangement techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high presentation standards.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Reliable, neat, and physically capable of moving light décor materials and displays.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A certificate or training in floristry, interior styling, event decoration, or a related field is an advantage.
