Floral & Décor Attendant

Job Description

A well-established hotel is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Floral & Décor Attendant to help create elegant and welcoming spaces for guests. If you have a passion for floral arrangements, decorative styling, and maintaining beautiful interiors, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Design and arrange fresh floral displays for guest areas, reception, restaurants, event spaces, and guest rooms as required.
• Replace and maintain flowers and decorative arrangements to ensure freshness and presentation.
• Assist with seasonal, festive, and event décor installations.
• Care for flowers, plants, and decorative materials to extend their quality and lifespan.
• Maintain inventory of floral supplies, containers, ribbons, and décor items.
• Ensure décor displays are clean, safe, and professionally presented at all times.
• Work closely with the events, housekeeping, and front office teams to meet décor requirements.
• Report damaged décor items or supply shortages promptly.
• Follow proper handling and storage procedures for flowers and decorative materials.
• Support the setup and breakdown of decorations for meetings, weddings, and special occasions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in floral design, interior décor, event styling, or a similar role within a hotel, event venue, or floral business is an advantage.
• Knowledge of flower care, floral arrangement techniques, and decorative styling.
• Strong creativity with an eye for colour, balance, and presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift and move floral materials, decorative items, and display equipment when required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
