Floral & Décor Attendant

Job Description

Do you have a passion for flowers, elegant spaces, and creating memorable guest experiences? We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Floral & Décor Attendant to join our hotel team. In this role, you will help maintain beautiful floral arrangements and decorative displays throughout the property, ensuring every area reflects the hotel’s high standards of presentation and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, arrange, and maintain fresh floral displays for guest areas and special events.
• Replace wilted flowers and refresh arrangements as needed.
• Decorate hotel spaces for seasonal celebrations, weddings, conferences, and other functions.
• Water and care for indoor plants and decorative greenery.
• Assist with setting up and dismantling event décor.
• Maintain an inventory of flowers, plants, vases, ribbons, and décor materials.
• Ensure work areas, storage rooms, and floral tools are clean and organized.
• Coordinate with the events, housekeeping, and front office teams to meet décor requirements.
• Follow health, safety, and hotel quality standards in handling flowers and materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in floral design, event decoration, hospitality, or a related role is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of flower care, floral arranging techniques, and decorative styling.
• Creative flair with a strong sense of colour, balance, and aesthetics.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines, particularly during events and peak seasons.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move floral supplies and decorative items.
