Fitness Instructor

Job Description

We are looking for an energetic and professional Fitness Instructor to join our hotel gym team. In this role, you will inspire guests through engaging fitness sessions, provide expert guidance on exercise techniques, and contribute to a welcoming, safe, and motivating workout environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead individual and group fitness sessions for hotel guests.
• Design personalized workout plans based on guests’ fitness levels and goals.
• Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure safe equipment usage.
• Monitor the gym floor and provide assistance when needed.
• Conduct fitness assessments and offer wellness recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gym and fitness equipment.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Encourage guest participation in fitness and wellness programs.
• Respond professionally to guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and emergency procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Certification in Fitness Instruction, Personal Training, Exercise Science, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience as a Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, or Gym Coach, preferably in a hotel, fitness centre, or wellness facility.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong knowledge of exercise techniques, anatomy, strength training, and cardiovascular fitness.
• Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills.
• Ability to create safe and effective fitness programmes for individuals with varying fitness levels.
• Professional appearance with a positive and energetic attitude.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience teaching group fitness classes such as yoga, HIIT, Pilates, or aerobics is an added advantage.
