Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Monitor income, expenses, and cash flow.
• Reconcile bank statements and restaurant sales records.
• Process invoices, supplier payments, and staff reimbursements.
• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and relevant regulations.
• Prepare tax-related documentation and support external audits.
• Monitor inventory costs and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Work closely with management to provide financial insights for business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification or progress toward certification is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within a restaurant or food service environment.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage confidential financial information with discretion.
