Our restaurant is looking for a highly organized and energetic Expediter to help keep kitchen and dining operations running smoothly. This role is essential in ensuring every dish is prepared correctly, presented to the highest standard, and delivered promptly to guests. Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication between the kitchen and front-of-house team.
• Ensure food orders are complete, accurate, and presented according to restaurant standards.
• Monitor ticket times and prioritize orders for timely service.
• Inspect dishes for quality, appearance, and accuracy before they leave the kitchen.
• Notify kitchen staff of special requests, dietary requirements, and order modifications.
• Assist in organizing food pickup areas to maintain efficiency.
• Resolve order issues quickly by working closely with chefs and servers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting station.
• Support smooth workflow during busy service periods.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Expediter or in a restaurant service or kitchen role is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic understanding of food preparation and restaurant operations.
