Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and motivate the housekeeping team to achieve high performance.
• Develop staff schedules and manage daily housekeeping operations.
• Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet established cleanliness standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality assurance and compliance.
• Coordinate with the Front Office and Maintenance teams to ensure rooms are guest-ready.
• Monitor inventory levels and oversee the ordering and proper storage of housekeeping supplies.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote continuous improvement.
• Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns promptly and professionally.
• Prepare departmental reports, budgets, and performance records.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper, Assistant Executive Housekeeper, or in a senior housekeeping leadership role within a hotel.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and team management abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and quality standards.
• Experience managing housekeeping budgets, inventories, and departmental schedules.
• Ability to train, motivate, and develop team members.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using hotel management systems and Microsoft Office applications is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
