Executive Housekeeper

We are seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping operation, uphold exceptional cleanliness standards, and ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest level. The successful candidate will combine strong leadership with careful attention to detail and a practical understanding of hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver consistently high standards.
• Develop cleaning schedules and coordinate daily housekeeping operations.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house spaces for cleanliness and presentation.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen, uniforms, and equipment to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Train team members on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and hotel standards.
• Coordinate with the Front Office and Maintenance teams to resolve guest requests and room-related issues.
• Manage housekeeping budgets while controlling operational costs.
• Address guest concerns professionally and implement appropriate solutions.
• Maintain accurate records, schedules, inspection reports, and departmental documentation.
• Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with health, safety, and hygiene requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in hotel housekeeping.
• Strong knowledge of hotel cleaning procedures, linen management, and room inspection standards.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and develop a diverse housekeeping team.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, inventory, and departmental priorities effectively.
• Familiarity with hotel property management or housekeeping management systems is an advantage.
• Professional, dependable, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced hotel environment.
