We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our restaurant kitchen, inspire the culinary team, and maintain outstanding standards in food quality, presentation, and kitchen operations. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all kitchen operations to ensure smooth daily service.
• Develop seasonal menus and introduce new dishes that enhance the dining experience.
• Supervise, train, and motivate chefs and kitchen staff.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Monitor food preparation to ensure recipes and portion standards are followed.
• Oversee food purchasing, inventory control, and supplier relationships.
• Manage kitchen budgets and control food and labour costs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
• Coordinate with restaurant management to support events, promotions, and special menus.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef, or in a senior culinary leadership role within a restaurant.
• Professional culinary training, diploma, or certification from a recognised culinary institution is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of international and local cuisine, menu planning, and food presentation.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
• Experience with kitchen budgeting, food costing, and inventory management.
• Thorough understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining exceptional quality.
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
