Duty Manager

Are you a proactive hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily hotel operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and provide leadership across multiple departments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, team coordination, and maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the hotel during assigned shifts.
• Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service at all times.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests, resolving issues efficiently.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Security, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor staff performance and provide guidance, coaching, and operational support.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and security procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest areas and operational facilities to maintain quality standards.
• Prepare shift reports, document incidents, and communicate operational updates to senior management.
• Assist with emergency response procedures and ensure staff follow established protocols.
• Support occupancy management, VIP arrivals, and special events as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
• Sound knowledge of hotel operations, guest service standards, and operational procedures.
• Experience using hotel property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office applications is an advantage.
