Job Description

We are looking for a dependable and proactive Duty Manager to help oversee daily hotel operations and ensure guests receive a seamless, high-quality experience at all times. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, attentive to detail, and confident in leading teams across different departments.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily hotel operations during assigned shifts
  • Act as the main point of contact for guests, handling requests, concerns, and complaints professionally
  • Coordinate with front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitor staff performance and support team members to maintain service standards
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines
  • Handle emergencies or unexpected situations promptly and effectively
  • Prepare and review shift reports, documenting incidents and operational updates
  • Assist in training and mentoring staff to improve service delivery
  • Support management in achieving occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction targets

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to remain composed and make decisions in fast-paced environments
  • Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel management systems is an advantage
  • A professional attitude with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability
