Job Description

We are looking for a confident and hands on Duty Manager to help lead daily operations in our hotel. This is a key role for someone who thrives in a fast paced hospitality environment and enjoys being the go to person on shift. You will oversee departments, support team members, and ensure every guest enjoys a smooth and memorable stay. If you are proactive, calm under pressure, and passionate about service excellence, we would love to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily hotel operations during assigned shifts

  • Act as the primary point of contact for guests, handling inquiries and resolving concerns promptly

  • Supervise front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and other operational teams as needed

  • Ensure service standards and operational procedures are consistently followed

  • Handle guest complaints professionally and turn challenges into positive experiences

  • Monitor staff performance and provide on the spot coaching and support

  • Coordinate emergency procedures and ensure safety standards are upheld

  • Prepare shift reports and communicate key updates to senior management

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a hotel or hospitality environment

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to remain calm and solution focused in high pressure situations

  • Good understanding of hotel operations and guest service standards

  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills
