Job Description

Are you the kind of person who naturally takes charge, keeps calm under pressure, and makes guests feel completely at home? We are looking for a confident and hands on Duty Manager to help lead daily operations in our hotel. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being at the heart of the action, supporting the team, and ensuring every guest experience runs smoothly from check in to check out. As Duty Manager, you will act as the face of the hotel during your shift, making sure service standards are consistently high and that both guests and staff feel supported.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily hotel operations during assigned shifts

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate front office and operational teams

  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally

  • Ensure smooth check in and check out processes

  • Monitor service standards and maintain a welcoming atmosphere

  • Coordinate with housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance teams to resolve operational issues

  • Prepare shift reports and communicate important updates to senior management

  • Ensure health, safety, and security procedures are followed at all times

  • Step in to support any department when operationally required

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a hotel

  • Strong leadership and decision making skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to remain calm and solution focused under pressure

  • Solid understanding of hotel operations and guest service standards

  • Good organizational and problem solving skills
