DJ Coordinator

A lively bar is looking for a creative and organized DJ Coordinator to oversee music programming and entertainment operations. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to create memorable guest experiences through great music, strong scheduling, and seamless event coordination. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage DJ schedules, bookings, and performance calendars.
• Liaise with DJs to confirm availability, event requirements, and performance expectations.
• Plan music lineups that suit themed nights, special events, and regular operations.
• Ensure DJs arrive on time and performances begin as scheduled.
• Collaborate with the bar management team to develop entertainment concepts and promotional events.
• Monitor sound quality and coordinate with technical staff to resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate booking records, contracts, and performance payments.
• Evaluate guest feedback and recommend improvements to entertainment offerings.
• Ensure all entertainment activities comply with venue policies and safety standards.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with DJs, entertainers, and event partners.

Qualifications

• Previous experience coordinating DJs, live entertainment, events, or music programming in a bar, nightclub, or entertainment venue.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Good understanding of music genres, audience preferences, and entertainment trends.
• Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
• Familiarity with audio equipment and performance logistics is an advantage.
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling or event management software is desirable.
