District Manager

Job Description

A growing café group is looking to strengthen its leadership team with a District Manager to oversee multiple outlets, elevate service standards, and drive consistent business performance across locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across multiple café branches within the assigned district
• Support, mentor, and develop café managers to achieve performance targets
• Monitor sales, costs, and profitability, taking corrective action where needed
• Ensure consistent customer service quality and brand presentation across all outlets
• Conduct regular store visits, audits, and performance evaluations
• Implement operational standards, training programs, and company initiatives
• Handle escalated operational issues and staffing challenges
• Collaborate with senior leadership on growth plans and expansion strategies

Qualifications

• Proven experience in multi-unit management within hospitality, food service, or retail
• Strong leadership background with the ability to manage and develop diverse teams
• Solid understanding of financial performance metrics (sales, labour cost, margins)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
• Competence in using basic business reporting or POS systems
• Degree or equivalent professional experience in business, hospitality management, or related field preferred
• Willingness to travel regularly between locations within the district
