District Manager

Job Description

We’re looking for a confident and highly organised District Manager to oversee multiple cafe locations within a growing and fast-moving cafe chain. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys leading teams, improving operations, and making sure every branch delivers a consistently great customer experience. You will be the key link between head office and store managers, ensuring standards stay high, performance improves, and each cafe feels aligned with the brand’s identity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across multiple cafe branches
• Support and guide store managers to achieve sales and service targets
• Monitor performance metrics including revenue, staffing, and customer satisfaction
• Ensure consistent product quality, service standards, and brand presentation
• Conduct regular store visits, audits, and performance reviews
• Handle escalated customer and operational issues
• Support recruitment, training, and development of cafe managers and key staff
• Implement company policies, promotions, and operational improvements
• Work closely with senior leadership to plan growth and expansion strategies

Qualifications

• Proven experience in multi-site retail or hospitality management
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to analyse performance data and make practical decisions
• Experience in budgeting, operations control, or sales management
• High level of organisation and attention to detail
• Ability to travel between locations as required
• A strong understanding of customer service excellence in a hospitality environment
