Job Description

. We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our hotel team. The successful candidate will help keep lobbies, corridors, entrances, restrooms, and other shared hotel spaces clean, orderly, and welcoming for guests, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including lobbies, corridors, elevators, stairways, entrances, and restrooms.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, polish, and disinfect surfaces as required.
• Keep public restrooms fully stocked with essential supplies.
• Inspect assigned areas regularly and address cleanliness issues promptly.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish according to hotel procedures.
• Clean glass doors, mirrors, windows, fixtures, and other visible surfaces.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged property, spills, or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Handle cleaning equipment and products safely and responsibly.
• Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning materials and notify supervisors when replenishment is required.
• Support the housekeeping team with additional cleaning duties when necessary.
• Follow hotel standards for cleanliness, safety, hygiene, and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel cleaning, housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or a similar role is an advantage.
• Good understanding of basic cleaning procedures and safe use of cleaning products.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Good physical stamina and ability to remain active throughout the workday.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Friendly and respectful approach when interacting with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to follow instructions, schedules, and established hotel procedures
• Basic communication skills and the ability to understand workplace instructions.
