Director of Hotel Operations

Job Description

A prestigious hotel is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Hotel Operations to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences across all departments. This leadership role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in hospitality management and a passion for operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all hotel operational departments, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure exceptional guest service standards and handle escalated guest concerns.
• Monitor budgets, financial performance, and cost-control initiatives.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop departmental managers and team members.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with senior leadership to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
• Prepare operational reports and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of hotel operations experience, including at least 3 years in a senior management role.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent financial management and budgeting skills.
• Proven experience in managing multiple hotel departments.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
