Director of Hotel Operations

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee the full operational performance of a hotel environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on coordination, high service standards, and creating seamless guest experiences across all departments. You will be responsible for ensuring every part of the hotel runs efficiently, from front office and housekeeping to food and beverage and guest relations. This is a senior leadership position where strategy meets daily execution, and where your decisions directly shape guest satisfaction and business performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations across all departments
• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality guest service and hospitality standards
• Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and service flow
• Lead, mentor, and support department heads and supervisory teams
• Monitor budgets, occupancy performance, and operational costs
• Handle escalated guest concerns with professionalism and resolution-focused action
• Drive staff training, performance reviews, and team development initiatives
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and hospitality standards
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and growth initiatives

Qualifications

• Strong background in hotel or hospitality operations management
• Proven leadership experience in managing multi-department teams
• Excellent understanding of guest service standards and hotel workflows
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to manage budgets and operational performance indicators
• Confident communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in staff development, training, and performance management
• High level of organisational and multitasking capability
