Job Description

Our cafe is looking for a dependable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. You will play an important role in ensuring that freshly prepared meals, beverages, and orders reach customers promptly and in excellent condition. The ideal candidate is punctual, courteous, safety-conscious, and familiar with navigating busy routes efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cafe orders accurately and on schedule.
• Handle food and beverages carefully during transportation.
• Confirm customer orders before completing each delivery.
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean, safe, and well maintained.
• Follow traffic regulations and safe driving practices.
• Report delivery issues, delays, or vehicle concerns promptly.
• Assist with basic order preparation and packaging when required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle used.
• Previous delivery or professional driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of local roads and route planning.
• Strong time-management and organisational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Physically capable of handling food and beverage orders safely
