Delivery Driver

Job Description

Our cafe is looking for a dependable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to ensure every order reaches customers promptly and in excellent condition. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the move, takes pride in providing outstanding service, and understands the importance of safe and efficient deliveries. As part of our team, you will represent the cafe while building positive relationships with customers through every delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages accurately and within scheduled timeframes.
• Verify customer orders before leaving the cafe to ensure accuracy.
• Provide friendly, professional service during every customer interaction.
• Handle cash and electronic payments when required.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Communicate delivery updates and report any delays promptly.
• Assist with packing and organizing delivery orders during busy periods.
• Support the cafe team with light operational tasks when deliveries are minimal.
• Ensure all deliveries meet the cafe’s quality and presentation standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a customer service role is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and route navigation.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to lift and carry delivery packages safely.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable using mobile navigation and delivery applications.
