Customer Service Representative

Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and solution-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our hotel team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring every interaction is welcoming, efficient, and memorable while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service at all times.
• Respond promptly to guest enquiries, requests, and concerns through various communication channels.
• Assist with reservations, check-in and check-out processes when required.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, promotions, and local attractions.
• Resolve guest complaints professionally, escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, front office, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate guest records and update relevant information in hotel systems.
• Process payments and issue receipts in line with hotel procedures.
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and messages efficiently.
• Uphold company standards, policies, and confidentiality while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, front desk, hotel operations, or a related role is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with reservation or property management systems is an advantage.
• Professional appearance with a positive and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
