We’re looking for a confident and hands-on Coffee Shop Manager to lead the daily operations of a busy, customer-focused café. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming atmosphere, guiding a team, and making sure every cup served meets a high standard. You’ll be the heartbeat of the shop, balancing people, product, and performance while keeping service smooth and customers coming back.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily coffee shop operations and ensure smooth opening and closing routines
• Lead, train, and motivate baristas and front-of-house staff
• Maintain high standards of customer service and product quality
• Manage inventory, stock ordering, and supplier coordination
• Handle cash management, daily sales reporting, and basic budgeting
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently met
• Resolve customer complaints in a calm and professional manner
• Plan staff schedules and manage shift coverage effectively
• Support menu execution and introduce small improvements to service flow

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, or hospitality management role
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Good understanding of coffee preparation and café operations
• Ability to handle cash, sales tracking, and basic reporting
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving ability under pressure
• Organised, reliable, and detail-oriented approach to work
