Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the coffee shop.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate team members.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and product quality.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate inventory replenishment.
• Manage staff schedules to ensure efficient coverage.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor sales performance and implement initiatives to achieve revenue targets.
• Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate business records.
• Control costs, reduce waste, and maximise profitability.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and ensure the shop remains clean and organised.
• Foster a positive, productive, and team-oriented workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a coffee shop, café, or similar food and beverage operation.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Sound understanding of coffee preparation, beverage quality, and food service operations.
• Experience with inventory management, budgeting, and cost control.
• Ability to analyse sales reports and make informed business decisions.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
• Professional appearance with excellent communication skills.
• Food safety certification or equivalent is an advantage.
