Our coffee shop is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Coffee Brewer to join our team. Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee using brewing methods such as pour-over, French press, batch brewing, and espresso-based techniques.
• Measure coffee, water, and ingredients accurately to maintain consistency.
• Grind and store coffee beans according to established standards.
• Monitor brewing times, temperatures, and extraction quality.
• Maintain clean and organised brewing stations and equipment.
• Assist customers with coffee selections and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
• Restock coffee supplies, cups, ingredients, and other service items.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Coffee Brewer, Barista, or in a similar coffee shop role.
• Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing techniques, and extraction principles.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to consistent quality.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy coffee shop environment.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Coffee-related training or certification is an advantage.
• Passion for coffee and willingness to continue developing professional skills.
