Cocktail Server

Job Description

We are looking for a Cocktail Server who can make guests feel welcome, take orders confidently, and keep service moving smoothly while maintaining a fun and professional atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and take accurate drink and food orders.
• Recommend cocktails and other menu options based on guest preferences.
• Deliver drinks and orders promptly and safely.
• Monitor tables and check regularly that guests have everything they need.
• Communicate special requests clearly to bartenders and kitchen staff.
• Maintain clean and organised tables and service areas.
• Process orders and payments accurately when required.
• Follow responsible alcohol service and bar safety procedures.
• Work closely with the bar team during busy service periods.
• Handle guest questions and concerns with patience and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cocktail server, server, waiter, or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
• Good knowledge of cocktails, beverages, and basic bar service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, friendly, and comfortable engaging with different types of guests.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple orders.
• Ability to remain calm and organised during busy periods.
• Good teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
