Job Description

A well-maintained restaurant creates a comfortable environment for guests and an efficient workplace for staff. We are seeking a dependable Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness across dining areas, kitchens, restrooms, storage spaces, and other restaurant facilities. The successful candidate will take pride in their work, follow hygiene procedures carefully, and ensure every area remains clean, orderly, and ready for service.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise dining areas, floors, windows, restrooms, and other assigned spaces.
• Maintain cleanliness in designated kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Dispose of waste safely and responsibly.
• Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies when required.
• Follow established sanitation, health, and safety procedures.
• Report spills, damaged equipment, maintenance issues, or hygiene concerns promptly.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
• Support the restaurant team with additional cleaning duties during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a restaurant, food service, hotel, or similar environment.
• Good understanding of cleaning, sanitation, and workplace safety practices.
• Ability to use cleaning equipment and products responsibly.
• Strong attention to detail and a consistent approach to maintaining cleanliness.
• Physically fit and able to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently while cooperating effectively with restaurant staff.
