Responsibilities

• Prepare handcrafted chocolates, truffles, pralines, ganache, and other chocolate confections.
• Develop seasonal chocolate collections and signature café treats.
• Temper chocolate using proper techniques to achieve premium quality and finish.
• Decorate and present chocolate products to a consistently high standard.
• Work closely with the pastry and kitchen teams to create complementary desserts.
• Monitor ingredient quality and ensure proper storage of chocolate products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the chocolate preparation area.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards.
• Assist with inventory management and report stock requirements.
• Contribute fresh ideas for new recipes and product offerings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chocolatier in a café, bakery, restaurant, hotel, or confectionery environment.
• Strong knowledge of chocolate tempering, moulding, enrobing, and decorative techniques.
• Experience producing a variety of chocolates, bonbons, truffles, and chocolate desserts.
• Creative approach to flavour combinations and product presentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while meeting production deadlines.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
