Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your assigned kitchen section.
• Ensure all meals are produced to the highest quality and presentation standards.
• Organise and manage your workstation to support smooth kitchen operations.
• Assist with food preparation, portion control, and daily mise en place.
• Monitor stock levels within your section and report shortages promptly.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen safety standards at all times.
• Minimise food waste through careful handling and storage of ingredients.
• Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef during busy service periods.
• Guide and assist junior kitchen team members when required.
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained after use.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen position.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Good understanding of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
• Experience working with fresh ingredients in a high-volume restaurant kitchen.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
