Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all daily kitchen operations.
• Design seasonal and innovative menus that align with the restaurant’s concept.
• Supervise, train, and mentor chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants.
• Maintain exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Monitor food costs, portion control, and kitchen budgets.
• Ensure proper inventory management and coordinate ingredient procurement.
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Collaborate with restaurant management on promotions and special events.
• Schedule kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
• Resolve kitchen challenges quickly while maintaining a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Executive Sous Chef, or in a comparable senior kitchen leadership role within a restaurant.
• Strong expertise in culinary techniques, menu development, and kitchen management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop kitchen teams.
• Thorough understanding of food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance practices.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing food costs, inventory, and kitchen budgets.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards.
