Job Description

Our hotel is looking for a focused and dependable CCTV Operator to join the team. You will play an important role in keeping guests, employees, and hotel facilities safe by monitoring surveillance systems and responding promptly to unusual activity. If you are observant, calm under pressure, and take security seriously, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras across hotel premises and maintain continuous awareness of activities.
• Identify and report suspicious behaviour, safety concerns, or security incidents.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, observations, and surveillance activities.
• Coordinate with the security team during emergencies or unusual situations.
• Review recorded footage when requested for investigations.
• Report equipment faults and ensure cameras are functioning properly.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling security footage and sensitive information.
• Follow hotel security procedures and support a safe environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in CCTV monitoring, security operations, or a related role.
• Good knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance procedures, and basic security practices.
• Strong observation and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Good communication and report-writing skills.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to operate surveillance and recording systems.
• Relevant security or surveillance training is an advantage.
