CCTV Operator

Job Description

A well-established hotel is seeking a vigilant and dependable CCTV Operator to join its security team. This role is responsible for monitoring surveillance systems, identifying security risks, maintaining accurate incident records, and supporting a safe environment for guests, employees, and property. Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems continuously during assigned shifts.
• Identify and report suspicious activities, security breaches, and safety concerns promptly.
• Record and maintain accurate logs of incidents, observations, and daily activities.
• Coordinate with security personnel and management during emergencies.
• Review recorded footage to assist with investigations when required.
• Ensure all surveillance equipment is functioning correctly and report technical faults.
• Control access to restricted areas through monitoring systems where applicable.
• Respond promptly to alarms and follow established security procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling surveillance footage and sensitive information.
• Follow hotel policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a CCTV Operator, Security Officer, or in a similar surveillance role is preferred.
• Valid CCTV certification or relevant security training is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, monitoring equipment, and security procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong observational skills.
• Ability to remain focused during extended monitoring periods.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency for report writing and system operation.
• Ability to respond effectively during emergencies and high-pressure situations.
• Strong integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information.
