CCTV Operator

Job Description

A well-established hotel is looking for a vigilant and detail-oriented CCTV Operator to help maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and property. This position is ideal for someone who remains calm under pressure, has excellent observation skills, and is committed to maintaining high security standards while supporting the smooth operation of the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems continuously.
• Identify and report suspicious activities or security concerns promptly.
• Record and maintain accurate incident logs and surveillance reports.
• Coordinate with security personnel and hotel management during emergencies.
• Review recorded footage when required for investigations.
• Ensure all surveillance equipment is functioning correctly and report technical faults.
• Control access monitoring systems where applicable.
• Respond professionally to alarms and security alerts.
• Maintain confidentiality of surveillance information and recordings.
• Follow hotel security procedures and all applicable safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a CCTV Operator, Security Officer, or in a similar monitoring role is preferred.
• Certification or training in CCTV operations or security procedures is an advantage.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems, monitoring software, and security equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
• Ability to remain focused during extended monitoring periods.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound judgment and the ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations.
• Basic computer proficiency for report preparation and system operation.
