Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier who can accurately process transactions, provide friendly service, and support the team in maintaining an efficient front-of-house environment. Responsibilities

• Process cash, card, and digital payments accurately and efficiently.
• Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Assist customers with billing enquiries in a professional manner.
• Coordinate with bartenders and service staff to ensure accurate order processing.
• Verify customer bills before completing transactions.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and secure cashier station.
• Report payment discrepancies or operational issues promptly.
• Support opening and closing procedures as required.
• Deliver courteous and efficient customer service at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cashier or in a customer-facing cash handling role, preferably in a bar, restaurant, or similar environment.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and electronic payment methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure during busy service periods.
• High level of honesty, integrity, and accountability.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
