Cafe Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on and personable Cafe Manager to lead daily operations, support the team, and create a welcoming environment for guests. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and able to balance leadership with attention to detail. This role requires someone who can keep service running smoothly while maintaining quality standards and a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cafe operations to ensure efficient service and smooth workflow
• Supervise, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer experiences
• Manage inventory, stock levels, and supplier coordination
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of the cafe
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and resolve issues professionally
• Monitor sales performance and support basic reporting and record keeping
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and operational standards
• Assist in scheduling staff shifts and coordinating team coverage

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a food and beverage environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Good organizational and multitasking skills
• Customer-oriented mindset with problem-solving ability
• Basic understanding of inventory management and cost control
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure
