We are looking for a detail-oriented Cafe Accountant to oversee financial records, support daily operations, and provide reliable reporting that helps the business make informed decisions. Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting systems
• Record daily sales, expenses, and bank transactions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Reconcile bank accounts and cash balances
• Process invoices, payments, and supplier accounts
• Monitor budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Prepare payroll and ensure timely salary processing
• Manage tax records and support statutory compliance
• Assist with financial forecasting and budgeting
• Conduct regular inventory cost analysis
• Support internal and external financial audits
• Ensure confidentiality of financial information

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Previous accounting experience in a café, coffee shop, restaurant, or similar business is preferred
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple financial tasks and meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional integrity and commitment to confidentiality
