About the Role

As a Barkeeper, you will prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, and help create an enjoyable experience for every customer. You will also ensure the bar remains organised, well-stocked, and compliant with safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beers, wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy and consistency.
• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, professional service.
• Recommend drinks based on customer preferences and promote featured beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar, equipment, and service areas.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
• Verify legal drinking age and serve alcohol responsibly.
• Process customer orders and payments accurately.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and ingredients throughout each shift.
• Work closely with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barkeeper, Bartender, or in a similar bar service role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and beverage preparation techniques.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic cash handling and point-of-sale system experience.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and responsible beverage service practices.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting bar supplies when required.
