Job Description

Our coffee shop is looking for a passionate Barista who enjoys crafting quality beverages, creating memorable customer experiences, and contributing to a positive team environment. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and take pride in consistency and service, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages to a high standard.
• Welcome customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, seating area, and workstations.
• Restock ingredients, cups, and supplies throughout each shift.
• Handle cash and electronic payments accurately.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Recommend menu items and promote seasonal beverages and food offerings.
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer-facing food and beverage role is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of espresso preparation, milk steaming, and beverage presentation is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Basic numeracy skills for processing customer transactions.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, quality, and professionalism.
